|My car is an early built 1969 Corvair. It was built at the Willow Run Plant in Michigan. The scheduled Fisher Body build date was the
First week of September 1968. The original Build Sheet (Dated September 9th) shows that it was to be painted Garnet Red, have a
Black interior, and a White convertible top. It was also optioned with a Power Glide transmission, and a Power convertible top. There
are other options on the car now. They were possibly added by the dealer, or by the previous owners.
The numbers matching 164 ci. 110 HP Turbo Air Engine was built on September 5, 1968 at the GM Tonawanda Plant in New York.
